Until You Make Heaven

Philippians 2:12-3.
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Salvation is a personal race, your mother or father cannot run your race for you, neither can your brother or sister run your race for you. The best they can do is to assist you to get on the track and maintain your lane because they themselves have theirs to run too.

When one is being saved, the journey to eternal life has just begun. There will be a lot of distractions and temptations on the road, is now left to you maybe you’ll fall to them or you’ll overcome them. But for you to overcome, you need the grace of God.

There is always a saying that, once saved is forever saved, which simply means after you’ve have been saved, you can continue to live in sin that grace will cover your mistakes, beloved, don’t believe that
saying, it’s a big lie. That’s an erroneous and false doctrine which will definitely land a fellow to eternal damnation.

Romans 6:1-2 KJV
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

If you truly understand what grace really means, you’ll run away from sin, not only will you run away from it, you’ll also hate sin with passion.

Salvation is a race that must be run patiently and with fear of the Lord because he alone can crown our effort at the end of the race. We must keep looking forward and never allow any traits of sin in our
life and make a vow never to go back to our vomit again.

Either you have just started your race or you are already in the race and you think you are doing well in the journey, don’t boast of your works because you were not saved by your works, you were only saved by Grace.

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Count your works as nothing because even the bible makes us realize that our righteousness is like a filthy rag. (See Isaiah 64:6). You must keep pressing on and never look back because your salvation is
not complete until you make heaven.
Paul said in Philippians 3:13-15 KJV
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do , forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

For us to keep pressing on the upward way, we must double our effort to live a well presentable and acceptable life, so that when Christ shall come, he will find us worthy to reign with him in eternal life.
We must not forget to care more, give more, love more, praise him more, worship him more, win more souls, study the word more, pray more, have faith and live holy always because without holiness no man
will see God.

Each day should be taken one step at a time because nobody knows when the trumpet will sound. But the real fact is that the countdown to second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ has started. The trumpet could sound anytime. If the trumpet should sound now, will you be caught up in the air with Jesus? So be prepared and live ready. Until you make heaven, don’t relent.

Brethren, It is not how you start a race that matters, it is how you end it. You can only end a race in two ways, either you get to the finished line or you don’t. Either you emerge as a winner or the other way round. Not all that started a race that gets to the finished line but if you look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; you’ll make it to the end and also finish well.
So beloveth, continue pressing forward and upward way until find yourself in the kingdom of heaven. God bless you.
