[7]And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
[8] But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
[9] There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
[11] And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.
[12] And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out. Genesis 39:7-9, 11-12 KJV

When you commit the sin of adultery and fornication, you are sinning against three parties, Your Maker, Yourself and Your Neighbor in whom you committed the sin together.
Fornication is generally consensual sexual intercourse between two people not married to each other. It also can define as having premarital sex.
Adultery is voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse. When you have an affair apart from the partner you are legally married to, you are sinning against three parties. Not only are you sinning, you are also defiling your matrimonial bed. The same thing applies to fornication.
When you commit this sin, you are destroying and condemning your Body, Soul and Spirit, because this sin does not only happen in the physical realm, but also in the spiritual and whatever affects the Spirit will also affect the physical.
This sin can make one lose a thing from God that cannot be ever recovered again. If you have been practicing this sin, you had better repented from it now before it’s too late.
1 Corinthians 6:18 KJV
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
This sin is not only committed in the physical, but can also be committed in the heart. Jesus Christ said anyone who look at someone lustfully, be it a man or a woman have already committed the sin in his or her heart. (See Matthew 5:28).
So you need to keep renewing your mind every moment and fill it with good thoughts.
Adultery and fornication is one of the weapon the devil uses to bring down anyone who is great destiny. No matter who you are, if you commit this sin, you have given the enemies a great advantage and edge over your life and destiny, that’s why you must run away from it.
Probably, you might have been engaging in this act, you must put a stop to it now to avoid any dangerous consequences in the future.
When you commit this sin, there are three parties you are sinning against:
1) God
When this sin is committed, of course you might think that nobody is watching, but you forgot that whatever that seems dark in the eyes of a man is very clear in eyes of God. Truly, nobody might be watching but God is watching.
The eyes of God is too holy to behold iniquities. What a sin! 1 Corinthians 3:16 says: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
When Joseph was in that situation he was so mindful and careful because he knows the consequences. He have no other option than to flee.
Whenever sin is knocking at the door, never negotiate, never open and never entertain, just flee.
2) Yourself
When this sin is being committed, you are defiling your own body. You’re destroying the temple of God with this immoral act.
Imagine a man using his own hands to destroy himself. Your body has value and is the temple of The Holy Spirit. God himself dwells in your body, so why do you want to kick him out by yourself.
You have been bought with a price, so glorify God with your body and offer it as a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
3) Your Neighbour
Adam and Eve have been in the garden together and they were both naked, but immediately they sinned, they discovered they were naked and they felt ashamed. What a pity.
Whenever that sin is being committed, the glory and Spirit of God leaves that person immediately. The person you commit that sin with will feel ashame.
It is very dangerous and disastrous to commit this act because glory can be lost. So why do you want to sin against your neighbour.
This person is some one’s future partner, this person is someone wife / husband. Please abstain from this sin in order not to destroy your Body, Soul and Spirit.
There Is Always a Way Out
God always have a way of bringing people out of this temptation. Whenever you find yourself in this situation, God will always find an escape route for you.
1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Adultery and Fornication is forbidden fruit. Anyone who eats from it will surely reap its reward.
If you are not married, avoid ungodly relationship and premarital sex. Don’t sell your body for sexual sins and fall a victim of immoralities.
If your are married. Let this act be done between you and your spouse only, not with any other person.
What To Do?
1) Repent and be filled with Holy Spirit. When you repent, confess and forsake your sin. God will have mercy and give you a new beginning
2. Determine and make up your mind never to go back to your vomit again.
3) Be filled with the power of Holy Spirit which will enable you to live a life of purity, holiness and sanctification.
If you want to receive Jesus Christ as Your personal Lord and Savior, say this prayer with me in faith:
Say Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, i surrender all to you, I dedicate my life to you, i believe that you died for my sin and i confess with my mouth that you are the son of God, come in to my life now and be my savior, I will no longer live a life of sin again, from now on I will live to please you, please wash away my sins with your precious blood, give me a new life and a new beginning. Thank you for saving me, I‘m no longer a sinner, I’m now born again, in Jesus name Amen.
Stay Blessed.
