That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” John 3:15.
There are only two places where a man would spend eternity. You either spend it in hellfire or in Heaven. The choice is yours for you to make today. Whether you like it or not you’re going to end up in one of these places when your time is up here on earth or when rapture happens.
Eternity is a time without end, it’s infinite and perpetual. It’s a period when no one will be in a hurry to complete a task, to catch up with a flight, to meet up with a train or bus. It’s a time where you will have enough time to do anything you want to do.
It’s a time where nobody runs late for an appointment. A time where nobody gets you fired for not being punctual to meeting or at the place of work. It’s a time without end. Everything will keep going on and on without ceasing. If it’s enjoyment, the enjoyment will be endless, if it’s pain and suffering, it will also be endless in eternity. There’s nothing temporary in eternity, everything there is without end.
But this life is temporal and it’s just like a marketplace, where every one comes from different places to do one thing or the other, and when everyone is through with his or her activities for the day or when the day is dark, everyone leaves the market and go to their respective houses. Both the buyer, the seller and even the one who is not buying or selling anything. They would all leave the market.
Beloved, everyone you see today will leave this earth and surely spend eternity, either in heaven or in hell. But God never sends anyone to hell, everyone arrives there according to their own acts, choice and the decision they made, because it is the will of God that no one should perish, that all should come to repentance and be saved.
No matter how long a man may live in this life, one day, that man will surely return back to his maker which is God because as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27.
It will be a great disaster for any man to die without Jesus in his life, it doesn’t matter who the person is or what the person does, because it would have been too late for the person to repent. It would have been too late to make the decision. But today, if you choose to surrender your life to Jesus, forsake your sins and call upon His name, you shall be saved. The gate of mercy is still wide open for you.
It written in Romans 10:13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! And whosoever shall come unto Him, He will in no wise cast out. John 6:37
The only way a man can escape eternal damnation in hell fire is to repent now from his sin and accept Jesus Christ as His Lord and Saviour, because it is through Him a man can receive salvation for his own soul and secure his eternal destination in heaven.
Everyone has only one life to live and everyone has a choice to make. The choice you make now will determine where you will spend Eternity and the best decision you can ever make in your life time is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, follow Him, obey Him, live holy and serve Him to the end.
It is certain that if you make the decision now to accept Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you will not be condemned to eternal damnation but you will have everlasting life and you’ll have it more abundantly.
John 3:16 says: ” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.“
Jesus is the only way that leads to eternity in Heaven, He is the only way that leads to salvation. If you acknowledge Him today and invite Him to reign in your life, He will give you a new life and a new beginning and you will become a new creature.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Beloved, today is your day of salvation, don’t postpone it, this might be the only chance you have to make this decision right now?
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
- Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
- You must confess your sins
- Ask for forgiveness and mercy
- Invite Jesus into your life and accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour
If you’re ready to accept Jesus Christ into your life now, say this prayer in faith:
“Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, I surrender all to you, I dedicate my life to you, I believe that you died for my sin and I confess with my mouth that you are the son of God, come in to my life now and be my savior, I will no longer live a life of sin again, from now on I will live to please you, please wash away my sins with your precious blood, give me a new life and a new beginning. Thank you for saving me, I‘m no longer a sinner, I ‘m now born again, in Jesus name Amen”.
