Still working...

Therefore,  my  beloved, as you have  always
obeyed not as in  my presence only,  but now
much  more in  my  absence,  work  out  your
own salvation with fear and trembling; for it
is God who  works  in  you both  to will and to
do for His good pleasure.   Philippians 2:12-3.

Salvation is a personal race, your mother or father cannot run your race for you, neither can your brother or sister run your race for you. The best they can do is to assist you to get on the right track and maintain your lane because they also have theirs to run as well.

Your journey to eternal life begins at the moment you confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. There will be a whole lot of distractions and temptations that may want to derail you, but you need to be focus and stay strong to resist every wile of the enemies.

Like roaring lion

You must have heard that once saved is forever saved, which simply means after you’ve have been saved, you can continue to live in sin that grace will cover your mistakes, my beloved, never believe that irony, it’s a big lie. It’s an erroneous and false doctrine that will eventually condemn a fellow to eternal damnation.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue
in  sin,  that  grace  may  abound? God  for
bid. How  shall  we,   that are  dead to sin,
live any longer therein?       Romans 6:1-2.

If you truly understand what grace really means, you’ll run away from sin, not only will you run away from it, but also hate sin with passion.

Salvation is a race that must be worked with patience and with the fear of the Lord. It will require your total dedication, commitment, self-discipline and sacrifices.

We must keep looking unto Jesus and never allow the dominance of sin and the works of the flesh to find expression in our lives.

Either you have just started your race or you are already in the race, and you discovered that God’s Grace has been sufficient all the way or probably God has been helping you thus far. This is the time you more oil in your lamp; you must neither relent in your walk with God nor be too over confident in yourself

Wherefore   he    that   thinketh  himself   to  stand,
let him take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 1:10:12.

Count your works as nothing because even the bible makes us realize that our righteousness is like a filthy rag. (See Isaiah 64:6). You must keep pressing on and never stop pressing forward until you make heaven.

Brethren,  I  count  not  myself  to  have apprehended
but this one  thing I do , forgetting those things which
are behind, and reachin forth unto those things which
are before, I press toward  the  mark  for  the  prize of
the    high   calling  of   God   in   Christ    Jesus.  Let  us
therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and
if   in   anything  ye  be  otherwise  minded,   God shall
reveal even this unto you.                 Philippians 3:13-15.

For you to keep pressing on the upward way, we must always double our effort to live a well presentable and acceptable life, so that when Christ shall come, he will find us worthy to reign with him forever in His Kingdom.

We must not forget to care more, give more, love more, praise him more, worship him more, win more souls, study the word more, pray more, have faith and live holy always because without holiness no man will see God.

Each day should be taken one step at a time because nobody knows when the trumpet will sound. But the real fact is that the countdown to second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ has started.

The trumpet could sound anytime. If the trumpet should sound now, will you be caught up in the air with Jesus? So be prepared and live ready. Until you make heaven, don’t relent.

Brethren, it is not how you start a race that matters, it is how you end it. There are always two ways to end a race, either you get to the finished line or you don’t, either you emerged as a winner or you don’t.

Not all that started a race that gets to the finished line but if you look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith; you’ll make it to the end and also finish well. His grace will be sufficient you in Jesus name.

So beloveth, continue pressing forward and upward way until you find yourself in heaven at the long last. God bless you.
