Let God Do It His Own Way

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9.

Many of us rely so much in ourselves. Some of us trust and depend on our skills, some depends on their strength, some depends on money, some depends on family, relatives, friends etc.

We try everything on our own thinking that we can do everything all by ourselves without involving God in it and try to back it up with Philippians 4:13 which says I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. The word states it clear that through “Christ” that strengthen us. But these days, we have removed the Christ and replaced it with our skills, qualifications, strength, power, friends, connections etc. forgetting that all these sources will fail us one day except God.

Proverbs 19:21 says There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.

Many of us likes to do things in our own ways, we plan, strategies and work out everything by ourselves so that it can go our own ways forgetting that it’s only the counsel of the Lord that will prevail.
If you have been doing things in your own ways before, is high time you stopped and let God do it his own way.

I used to do things on my own way before, I do a lot of things trying not involve God in it because I felt what I was doing was actually right, I never knew I was only doing my thing alone and not God’s own. After some times when I discover that I was just doing my things alone, I had to stop doing them and let God have his way. Till today, he has been faithful to me and I will forever be grateful to him.

Moses was one of the greatest prophets on earth. God used him mightily for his divine assignment. God used him to deliver the children of Israelite from the hands of pharaoh the slave master. When Moses wanted to do it in his own way initially, he was caught in the middle; he had no option than to flee. But when God had his way, he made him like a God In the eyes of pharaoh and his people. With God by his side, he singled handedly save the children of Israelite from the slavery of over four hundred years. If Moses had forced his ways through from the beginning, he might have missed it, but Glory to God for the great things he did and greater things he’s still doing.

It’s good to have a vision, goal, plan but we must not rely on our skills, knowledge or qualifications to execute any of them, we must let God have his way and let him do it in his own way. If he’s the one that gave us the vision, he will surely see us through. He can never abandon us in the desert.
And for we to let him do it in his own way, we must come to him empty so he can fill us, we must come down from our camel, we must surrender to him totally so he can consecrate, mold us and transform us to exactly what he wants us to be. We must look unto him alone and focus on him only. After we’ve done that, we can now invite him so he can be the master of our life. So he can give us a new master plan of our life.

Beloveth, God can only do it his own way only if you surrender to him. This is an opportunity for you to let him have his way in your life, if you haven’t surrender to him before, use this opportunity to reconcile with him so he can have his way fully in your life. May God bless as you do in Jesus name.
